Christmas Tree Lit to Mark the AU Celebrative Christmas Season

To mark the beginning of celebration and joyful Christmas season of the Catholic Assumption University, the tall giant glittering decorated Christmas tree towering in the AU Suvarnabhumi Campus was officially lit during the formal lighting ceremony that was held on December 2, 2020.

This auspicious occasion was presided over by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, who performed the tree lighting ritual as the prelude to the much awaited festive University Christmas celebration scheduled on December 24, 2020. This important event taking place at the Scholar Square Dome 4, Suvarnabhumi Campus, was cheerfully witnessed by other Management team members, Administrators, faculty, staff, students and AUSO Committee Members, the main organizers of the event.

This year’s important event included a number of colorful, exciting and entertaining activities:

Dance Performance
The day’s program started with the exciting dance performances by the AU Dance Club members who delightfully entertained the audiences.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The major event of the official Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was then officially carried out by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, in the presence of the participating jubilant celebrants.

Performance by the AU Louis Nobiron School of Music

The enjoyable musical performances by the AU School of Music, furthermore added more fun and enjoyment to the celebrative atmospheres.

AU Chorus Performance

The Christmas carols sung by the AU Chorus were as well delightful and entertaining which remind the participants of God’s manifested love and the fast approaching Christmas celebration.

Photo Contest Announcement

The winning photos were then finally announced among all the submitted photos under the theme of “The Gifts” which promoted the contestants’ artistic and creative skills & abilities.

Other fun-filled activities included the game booths for participants to enjoy and the luck draw for a variety of lucky prizes.

The day’s program ended with the attractively displayed Fashion Show by Personality Development Class featuring a variety of stylist fashionable clothing.
