After graduating from Assumption University of Thailand in 2011, majoring in Finance and having in her junior year of studies participated in the Undergraduate Outbound Exchange Program at Beijing Language and Culture University, Aroonrawee started her career in management consulting at Accenture.

She was subsequently accepted into the International Scholarship Program at PTT Public Company Limited. Aroonrawee pursued her MBA at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA. During her MBA studies, she spent her summer interning at SunEdison, the world's largest renewable energy development company, in Singapore.

After completing her graduate studies, Aroonrawee led the formation of PTT's venture capital arm, where she spent 4 years leading its investments in startup companies and venture capital funds in the U.S. and Asia.

During the time, she also developed her investing expertise as a secondee at G2VP, a $350 million venture and growth capital fund spun out of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB)'s greentech-focused investment fund in Menlo Park, California.

Aroonrawee is currently an Associate Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation, the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group.

The IFC is a global investor and advisor committed to promoting projects in its developing member countries that are economically beneficial, financially and commercially sound, and environmentally and socially sustainable.

IFC finances private sector investments, mobilizes capital in the international financial markets, helps clients improve social and environmental sustainability, and provides technical assistance and advice to governments and businesses in the developing world.
