Assumption University of Thailand (AU) recently had the honor of hosting a delegation from the China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing, a distinguished public university located in Beijing’s technological hub.
The delegation was chaired by the University Council's Chair, Prof. Xiaomin Xu, and included the Dean of the School of Management, Prof. Rui Zhang, as well as the Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Ms. Ying Yang. The composition of the delegation underscored the significant nature of the visit.
A warm reception was accorded by Assumption University’s Deputy Vice President for Academic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, who also serves as the Dean of the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics.
The interaction between officials from Assumption University and the China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing, is set to establish a solid base for future educational collaborations and scholarly partnerships. These initiatives are expected to yield considerable advantages for both the student and faculty communities of the institutions involved, thereby enhancing educational quality and nurturing a collaborative academic ethos.
