WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
On January 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed executives from the University of Essex in the VIP Room of Assumption Hall at the Hua Mak Campus. This visit, organized by AU's Office of International Affairs (OIA), aimed to strengthen academic ties and explore collaborative opportunities between the two institutions.
The University of Essex, established in 1965, is celebrated for its research excellence and vibrant academic community. Ranking among the top 30 universities in the UK, Essex is renowned for its innovative Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) and its focus on fostering global education.
The meeting provided a platform for discussions on research collaboration, student mobility programs, and joint academic initiatives. Both universities share a mission to foster international learning and provide students with opportunities to gain a global perspective.
