On March 12, 2025, students from Assumption College Rayong took part in an exciting aviation and engineering workshop at Assumption University of Thailand (AU), gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge technology and flight simulation at Suvarnabhumi Campus.
Organized by AU’s Office of the University Registrar in collaboration with Bangkok Aviation Center (BAC), the workshop provided students with an in-depth look at aviation education and career paths. BAC is the first private flying school in Thailand, offering comprehensive pilot training courses for aspiring aviators to obtain their licenses and pursue careers in aviation.

The day’s agenda included an introduction to the AU Aviation Course, insights into the BAC Flight School and career opportunities, and a Simulator and Aircraft Workshop at the Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science and Technology (VMES), where students explored real-world applications of aeronautical engineering and piloting.
The visit also featured interactive sessions with faculty and industry experts, giving students valuable exposure to AU’s renowned engineering and aviation programs. The hands-on experience in the flight simulator and aircraft workshop encouraged students to consider careers in aviation, engineering, and technology.

AU regularly hosts educational workshops and campus visits to inspire future innovators and leaders, providing them with a firsthand look at the University’s commitment to excellence in education and research.
