In a landmark event that promises to open new avenues for academic and cultural exchange, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) was thrilled to host a high-profile delegation from Chengdu Medical College, China. The visit took place on October 31, 2023, and spanned both the Suvarnabhumi and Hua Mak campuses of Assumption University. Chengdu Medical College is a full-time general clinical school facilitated by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. It is situated in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province.
Rev. Bro. Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Vice President for Academic Affairs, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests from Chengdu Medical College. The morning session was a vibrant discussion that explored potential partnerships, joint research initiatives, and student exchange programs.
The Office of Graduate Studies meticulously organized the event, ensuring that the visit was both productive and enjoyable for all parties involved. The visit was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kitti Phothikitti, Dean of the Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management. Accompanied by a team of AU's leading academics and administrators, the session delved into more specific areas of collaboration, including advanced technology and business management.
This visit marks the beginning of what promises to be a fruitful relationship between Assumption University and Chengdu Medical College. Both institutions are excited about the potential for future collaborations that will benefit students, faculty, and the broader academic community.
