On April 11, 2022, Dr. (Honorary) Hak Cheol Kim, Founder of International Youth Fellowship (IYF), Thailand, Sukarnda Park, Project Manager and Mr. Hamin Park, Coordinator visited Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of Assumption University of Thailand (AU) at Office of The President, De Montfort Hall, Hua Mak Campus. Dr. Vindhai Cocracul, Vice President for Academic Affairs also attended this visiting.
In this occasion, IYF Thailand pursued a collaborative project with Assumption University under the title “Mind Education.” Mind Education is an educational program with a particular focus on mental development to build soft skills and AQ within participants. The participants are expected to be able to critically think and control themselves by using rational systems to establish a deeper sense of education. The program has been held in forms of seminars which have been set more than 20,000 times through MOU with more than 210 educational institutes from 60 countries. Assumption University could gain benefits from it as follows:
- MOU between IYF Thailand and Assumption University in order to implement the program within the university.
- Mind Education will be conducted by experts from Republic of Korea
- Provide an opportunity to join World Education Leader Forum at Republic of Korea
- Site visit at IYF, Republic of Korea
Moreover, IYF Thailand officially invited the AU President to be an exclusive guest in the Mind Education seminar at Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada on April 21, 2022.
