“The library is a space for students to equip themselves with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their chosen field.”

Training and Workshops

Training and workshops are offered by the AU library each semester on a variety of topics. They are designed to help attendees learn new skills and introduce or re-acquaint them with relevant resources (printing, digital and other formats) for their projects. These activities are provided to help them use these resources effectively and develop skills for efficient and effective information search strategies, and critical evaluation skills.

This semester, during December 7-9, 2022, A. Piyakul Tillapart, Instructor of Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology led 1st-year students’ class ITX3002 “Introduction to Information Technology.” More than 140 students attended this workshop at both Hua Mak and Suvarnabhumi Campuses. Ms. Punchaliga Intanam, the trainer at the AU library provided an additional workshop at both libraries. This workshop meets the policy of effective information literacy for AU family members.
