WRITER: MARTIN DE TOURS SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS

Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) has recognized the importance of practical learning in business to prepare the students to be well-equipped entrepreneurs.

MSME School of Business has collaborated with the Faculty of Food Industry, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), owning knowledge regarding food industry, together with We Chef specializing in expanding and organizing the food truck business to initiate WAKE-UP project. This is the first collaboration from three institutions. It is expected to continue in subsequent academic years as well.

The WAKE-UP project provides an opportunity for students in entrepreneurship course to collaborate with students from the Faculty of Food Industry (KMITL) and food entrepreneurs to develop and expand food truck businesses that could be implemented in the future. Students and entrepreneurs will have opportunities to learn and exchange knowledge that would not be only beneficial for the students to be well-equipped in becoming entrepreneurs but also for the entrepreneurs to apply the knowledge in expanding the businesses.
