Student Committee at Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) has organized “Bio Pin Decoration Ceremony 2022” for freshman students on February 9, 2023, at Salle d’ Expo, Hua Mak Campus.
The pin with a shape of a microscope is given as a symbol of acceptance to our Biotech family On this auspicious occasion, Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, the University President gave a warm welcome to the students and mentioned directions of Montfortian education, the University’s mission, and the Bio-Circular-Green economic model (BCG) consisting of food and agriculture, medical and wellness, bioenergy, biomaterial and biochemical, and tourism and creative economy.
It is also an honor for the School to have Rev. Bro. Achin Tengtrakul, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Rev. Bro. Verayuth Boonpram, the Vice President for Student Affairs, present at this occasion.
After that, Asst. Prof. Dr. Patchanee Yasurin, the Dean, gave a speech to congratulate the students. In her speech, she insisted that she did not say it from the perspective of a dean, rather she said it as an alumna student of the School. We also thank Ms. Sukrutai Ninnet, CEO of Khumsub Asia Goods Trading Co., Ltd., our alumna, spiritually for sharing her work experience as a bioentrepreneur with all the newcomers.
