Bangkok, February 3, 2024 - In a groundbreaking initiative to bridge the gap between academia and industry, the Thomas Aquinas School of Law at Assumption University of Thailand organized an immersive field trip to the One City Center Building of Raimon Land Public Company Limited on February 2, 2024. The event provided 40 law students with invaluable insights into the dynamic intersection of real estate business and legal affairs.

The event was graced by the presence of key executives from Raimon Land PLC, led by Mr. Korn Narongdej, Chairman of the Executive Committee and CEO, alongside Mr. Harris Lakshanayodhin Kurdthip, Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing, and Mr. Atipong Chittchang, Vice President for Legal Affairs. Other senior officials from the company also actively participated, engaging with the students and sharing their wealth of knowledge and experiences in both business and legal realms.

The exclusive reception, marked by in-depth discussions and knowledge sharing, served as a platform for students to gain practical insights into the intricacies of the real estate industry. Discussions ranged from market trends and strategic marketing approaches to the legal complexities associated with real estate transactions and contracts.


 

 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sthianrapab Naluang, the Dean of the School of Law, spearheaded the academic delegation, accompanied by A. Aek Wonganant, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, A. Surawut Siribannakul, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, A. Nanyasopark Swasdiwat, LL.B. Program Director, and three respected lecturers.

The collaboration between AU's Law School and Raimon Land PLC is poised to pave the way for future engagements in legal-business education. The event marked the first step in fostering a strong partnership, with both institutions expressing enthusiasm for future joint initiatives and programs.

Mr. Korn Narongdej, Chairman of the Executive Committee and CEO of Raimon Land PLC, expressed his satisfaction with the initiative, stating, "This collaboration with Assumption University is a testament to our commitment to nurturing the next generation of legal and business professionals. The Real Estate Business and Law Field Trip 2024 proved to be a resounding success, providing students with a unique and enriching experience that transcended traditional classroom learning. The event sets a precedent for future collaborations between academia and industry, emphasizing the importance of practical knowledge in shaping the legal and business leaders of tomorrow.
