Assumption University's Institute for English Language Education (IELE) and the Theodore Maria School of Arts successfully concluded the IELE International Arts and Crafts Fair, held at the AU Plaza, The Cathedral of Learning Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus on January 23-24, 2024.

This two-day event attracted many students, faculty, and community members, showcasing the university's commitment to promoting internationalism and cultural diversity.

Highlights of the fair included activity booths from all departments in the Theodore Maria School of Arts, along with contributions from the Confucius Institute at Assumption University of Thailand (CIAU), Graduate School of Human Sciences (GSHS), and Assumption University’s International Student Committe (AUISC).

A key feature of the event was the "Design a World Flag" contest, which received an overwhelmingly positive response. This contest encouraged participants to express their vision of global unity and diversity through creative design, resulting in a stunning display of flags that symbolized AU's harmonious blend of cultures.

The fair served as a platform for cultural exchange and strengthened the bonds among students, faculty, and staff, echoing the event's objective of fostering a closely-knit international community within the university.

Assumption University extends its gratitude to all participants and organizers for making the IELE International Arts and Crafts Fair a resounding success and looks forward to hosting more such events in the future.
