The Confucius Institute at Assumption University opened HSK online Chinese courses via ZOOM application, in response to the needs of students and staff of Assumption University to learn Chinese. The teaching content is mainly based on HSK standard course textbooks, from level 1 to level 5. The teaching time is on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, which is chosen by students their own.

Course content
| HSK1 | For the students who have never studied Chinese or have studied Pinyin before and pretend to master 150 commonly used words and 45 language points required by the HSK Level 1 test |
| HSK2 | For the students who have studied Chinese for 30-34 class hours and have mastered 150 commonly used words and basic grammar patterns. |
| HSK3 | For the students who have studied Chinese for 70 class hours and mastered 300 commonly used words and related grammar patterns. |
| HSK4 | For the students who have studied Chinese for 120 class hours and mastered 600 commonly used words and related grammar patterns. |
| HSK5 | For the students who have studied Chinese for 200 class hours and mastered 1200commonly used words and related grammar patterns. |
