AU Students Displayed Excellent Thai Speech & Language Communication Skills.

Even though, prestigiously recognized as Thailand’s First International University with an International English Language as the medium of instructions, Assumption University does not neglect or overlook the students’ Thai Language proficiency or excellent Thai communication skills; integrating the excellent oratorical Thai speeches into Thai classroom teaching and learning.

As the language speech is an art of communication, it is necessary for the speakers to practice the art of speech and public speaking.

To this end, Office of Thai Art and Culture, Student Affairs, in coordination with the Department of General Education, Theodore Maria School of Arts, organizes the Thai Speech Contest annually to promote the proper usage of Thai language for effective public communication and significantly express sincere appreciation, effective application and honoring the eloquently used royal speeches, proper oral and written communication of the Chakri Dynasty.

This year speech contest under the topic of “Conserving Natural Resources to Save the Earth” was organized on January 27, 2023 at the CL Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus.

This Thai Speech Contest is of vital significance; encouraging, promoting and recognizing the AU students’ outstanding Thai speech or oral communication skills. The Result of Thai Speech Contest; Ms. Naphat Watyaem from MSME took 1st Prize, the 2nd Prize was Mr. Chokthawee Ratanawetwong from MSME, the 3rd Prize was Ms. Athicha Burapha from MSME and the Consolation Prize was Ms. Korbboonya Meelarp from MSME.
