AU Freshmen Orientation provides the necessary information to first-year students for preparing themselves for university life, both academically and socially, at Assumption University of Thailand. The contents of the event comprised with “AU vision and mission for AU graduates and introducing executive administrators” by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of Assumption University of Thailand (AU); speech on “Effective studies in AU” by Dr. Vindhai Cocracul, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and the speech on “Role of Assumption University Alumni Association towards Student Development” by Dr. Phakkhara Ruangsiradecho, President of Assumption University Alumni Association (AUAA).

The morning session program was held at John Paul II Sports Center, and the afternoon session program separated students into their faculty building for faculty orientation. For the afternoon session, first-year students received crucial information related to the academic system and academic support, quality assurance in higher education, and student development activities of their respective faculties. Also, they had a chance to build strong relationships with friends, senior students, lecturers and administrators.
