On the afternoon of March 28, 2024, the unveiling ceremony of the International Campus for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education of Assumption University of Thailand (AU) was held grandly. Vice President Li Rui of Chengdu Vocational and Technical College of Industry, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Zeng Baoguo of Chengdu Vocational and Technical College of Industry, Director of the Admissions Office Zhang Jinhui of Chengdu Vocational and Technical College of Industry, Rev. Bro. Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Vice President for Academic Affairs of Assumption University of Thailand, and representatives from relevant colleges and departments such as the International Cooperation Office (Thai-Chinese International College), Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management, School of Engineering, School of Computer Science, School of Law, and Registration Department attended the unveiling ceremony.
In 2023, after approval by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and filing with the Ministry of Education, the cooperative education program in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation jointly organized by Assumption University of Thailand and Chengdu Vocational and Technical College of Industry was established. The establishment of this program marks a significant advancement in promoting internationalization strategies and enhancing the level of international education. The unveiling ceremony held on this occasion has effectively promoted the progress of high-quality international educational resources between the two parties.
International Campus for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education we hope that through cooperative education, the two schools can achieve resource sharing, complementary advantages, and develop a unique and distinct educational characteristic. Based on mutual trust and reciprocity, we aim to continuously improve educational facilities by leveraging the existing resources of both institutions. With the assistance of scientific management models, we seek to realize the co-construction and sharing of advantageous resources, leading to a leapfrog development.
