The AU Christmas Celebration was held on December 24, 2022, from 5 PM to 10 PM, at Suvarnabhumi Campus. The objective was to celebrate Christmas and the Feast of the Nativity, understand the meaning of Christmas and invite alums to celebrate Christmas together.
The theme of this year was "Wishes Come True," meaning that this is to be said when something happens in the way that someone has said or hoped it would.
We are a Catholic University in Thailand. We see the importance of the Christmas celebration; in this festival, everyone always wishes for something from Santa Claus. The AU Christmas Tree Lighting 2022 came with the theme "The Night of Wishes." Everyone wishes in different ways.
However, their wishes have the same keyword: "Love, Family, Sharing, and Care." Many activities were held at the event, including performances by the student activity unit, also exclusive concerts by famous artists such as Dept and Tilly Birds. We also have a variety of booths that make participants enjoy the event.
The event's highlight included special activities such as a candle workshop and Soidao, or star fall. Also, a funny costume contest from faculties made students use their creativity for the show anda lucky draw. Everyone had an amazing time.
For this year's AU Christmas Celebration, we got great responses from our participants that we achieved our objective. We believe this was a wonderful event.
