According to Catholic Social Communications of Thailand (CSCT), Catholic Education Council of Thailand, Saint John's University, Saint Louis College, St. Theresa International College, Saengtham College Thailand, and Assumption University of Thailand, have organized an award ceremony with the theme "ผลิบาน" (blossoms) The 39th Catholic Media Awards 2022. The event was held for good media producers who have produced useful and valuable content for society. Such media promotes morality in various fields and supports and encourages participation in social responsibility.

Bishop Joseph Luechai Thatvisai, President of Catholic Commission for Information Technology gave the opening remarks. The Chairman of the ceremony, Rev. Anucha Chaiyadej, Director of the Catholic Church's media relations in Thailand, gave a report. This event was held on November 24, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Louis Marie De Montfort Chapel, Assumption University of Thailand, Suvarnabhumi Campus, Bangkok. Last year, this AU 's Chapel also was Selected to Host The Catholic Media Awards 38/2021.

The award genres are as follows:

  1. Television programs (Digital-Satellite): 3 awards
  2. Online TV programs: 3 awards
  3. Thai movies: 1 award
  4. Commercials: 2 awards
  5. Facebook create content for a family: 3 awards


Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran
, President of Assumption University of Thailand (AU), as a Catholic Social Communications of Thailand Board Committee member, was appointed to the advisory committee considering the Catholic Media Awards. He was invited by Rev. Anucha Chaiyadej to participate in this ceremony and congratulate the team.
