Phayathai Home for Infants, in Pakkret, Nonthaburi will be the learning environment for 9 other homes from different parts of the country including 2 staff from the Child Development Center of Uthai Sawan Tambon Administrative Organization in Nong Bua Lamphu where 22 children and two teachers were killed last year.

Based on the Montessori method, these qualified and experienced Montessori Assistant to Infancy specialists will deliver hands on training in approaches that caretakers can use, helping them learn how to best help each child discover their natural path of development, learning at their individual pace, and reaching their full potential.

Montessori education is a world-renowned approach originally developed by Dr. Maria Montessori seven decades ago. This year Thailand is privileged to host the 29th International Montessori Congress under the auspices of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), and co-hosted by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Ministry of Education, and the Montessori Association of Thailand, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Under the theme “Education for a New World”, over 3,000 participants from around the world are expected to join the Congress, which is scheduled to take place on August 2-5, 2023.
