The initiative of 15 alumni started when they agreed to establish the St. Gabriel's Alumni Association by making an appointment to discuss at St. Gabriel's School on December 2, 1950. A year after it was formed, it applied for a permission to register itself as an associate at the National Cultural Council and the Police Registration Division. In July 1951, the St. Gabriel's Alumni Association was officially established with Prof. Thiam Komkrit as the president of the association.
The establishment of the association went on for another 7 years. On September 20, 1958, about 60 alumni discussed with each other to find funding to support the association. They came up with a resolution for Mr. Sakon Samsen to be the chairman of the fundraiser committee. On January 10, 1959, there were 102 alumni gathered to demonstrate their intention to donate at least 1,500 baht per person until the office building of the association was built around 1962 within the area of St. Gabriel's School. In 2023, St. Gabriel's Alumni Association, led by Dr. Prawit Rattanapian as the president, organized the activity to celebrate the 72nd Anniversary of St. Gabriel's Alumni Association, called “Hall of Fame Night 2023”. The event featured an announcement ceremony with a plaque of honor given to those who have been inscribed on the Hall of Fame and outstanding alumni who had been selected as Outstanding Alumni of St. Gabriel 2022 in order to bestow the honor of the alumni who had practiced their asceticism and make contributions to society and the nation, including being role models who deserved to be recorded in an honorary history. The event was held on February 18, 2023, at St. Gabriel's Alumni Association, Sam Sen Road, Dusit, Bangkok, Thailand.
On this auspicious occasion, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of Assumption University of Thailand (AU) joined the event to witness and celebrate those who had been awarded.
On April 24, 2010, Rev. Bro. Bancha was awarded a plaque of honor for outstanding St. Gabriel's alumni, ซค. 9445 as a person who has made a reputation and honors to Saint Gabriel's College and his name was inscribed in the Hall of Fame.
