Assumption University of Thailand (AU) participated in the commemoration of the 78^th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on August 29, 2023 at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre, Central World, Bangkok.

The event, organized by The Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Bangkok was attended by Assumption University's President, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran as well as government officials, the diplomatic community in Thailand, and representatives from businesses, academia, and friends of Indonesia. Bro. Bancha engaged in discussions with various dignitaries at the event. Notably, he had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Piyavit Chiangpradit, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of El Salvador in Bangkok. Mr. Piyavit had previously served as a Part-Time Lecturer at Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics.
