Assumption University marks a momentous occasion as the Brothers of St. Gabriel of the Province of Thailand come together in a spirit of joy and gratitude to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Brother Sunant Yotharaksa and Brother Anant Prichavadhi’s Religious Profession.
In a ceremony steeped in reverence and tradition, Bishop Lawrence Thienchai Samanchit, the Bishop of Chanthaburi Diocese, led the celebrations honoring these five decades of steadfast faith and service.
This jubilee day—a day of rejoicing—serves as a sacred time to reflect, celebrate, and renew the commitment to the path chosen fifty years ago. United with fellow brothers, the clergy, relatives, collaborators, and friends, we give thanks for the wonders that have been accomplished through the dedication of Brother Sunant and Brother Anant, who have lived as brothers of Jesus Christ and champions of brotherhood in the church.
Brother Bancha Saenghiran, President of Assumption University, expressed his esteem for the brothers: “Today, we celebrate not only the passage of time but the journey of faith that Brother Sunant and Brother Anant have walked with unwavering dedication. Their lives of service are a testament to the values we hold dear at Assumption University. They exemplify our mission of fostering a community grounded in truth, service, and excellence.”
Assumption University extends its heartiest congratulations to both brothers on reaching this golden milestone. We join in prayer and best wishes for their continuous journey of faith, service, and community.
