On September 12, 2023 at 07:30-16:30 hours, Assumption University of Thailand welcomed the EdPEx Internal Quality Assessment Committee to its campus for an in-depth evaluation of the School of Nursing Science. This event was organized by the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS) and marked an important milestone in the pursuit of academic excellence.
The primary objective of the event was to conduct an internal site visit as part of the EdPEx (Education Performance Excellence) assessment process. This process was designed to enhance and maintain the high standards of education at Assumption University of Thailand and provide valuable feedback to further improve the quality of education offered.
Led by the esteemed chairperson, Professor Yuwares Sittichanbuncha, M.D; Dr. Kitikorn Dowpiset, the EdPEx Internal Quality Assessment Committee member, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Onouma Thummapol, the secretary of this committee. During their visit, they thoroughly assessed the performance of the BLNS, taking into consideration various aspects of teaching, research, and overall institutional effectiveness. The programme consisted of assessor meeting, welcome and opening remarks to the assessment and faculty presentation by Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Dean of BLNS, interview for all EdPEx categories, document review, summary & wrap up by assessors, and feedback provision to the School. The feedback and recommendations provided by the EdPEx Committee serves as a vital guide for the ongoing improvement and development of the School of Nursing Science.
