Riding the Next Wave of Higher Education: Change the Course or Perish

On April 27, 2013, Rev. Brother Bancha Saenghiran, the President of Assumption graced the occasion of signing and launching a new book titled “Riding the Next Wave of Higher Education: Change the Course or Perish.“ This book is jointly written by Dr. Preecha Methavasaraphak, Director, IRAS, and Dr. Kuldeep Nagi. It contains 20 articles that explore issues related to Higher Education institutions (HEIs) in the post-Covid era. It emphasizes the urgency of changing the century-old industrial-education complex.
HEIs must change their course, or they will perish in the high tides, turbulence, and seachange brought by new technologies, such as AI, social media, digital and remote learning. This book provides a clear picture of the future of education in 2023 and beyond. A copy of the book was also presented to the AU library. The book is available at the link given below. All the proceeds from the sale of the book will go social causes led by Assumption University.
