MOU

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) and Xihua University, China organized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony online. Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of AU and Prof. Liu Shugeng, President, Xihua University, China signed the MOU to strengthen academic collaboration as witnessed by AU Deans, University Registrar and Lecturers.

At the signing ceremony, the AU President delivered a speech with the following summary. "As a well-known international comprehensive university in Asia, Assumption University has carried out extensive cooperation with many famous universities in the world, and also as an important Thai university that actively develops China-ASEAN economic, trade and cultural, and educational exchanges,/ it has deep and good cooperation with Chinese educational administrative authorities and Chinese universities.

In particular, Assumption University is actively responding to the "the Belt and Road" education initiative of the Chinese government, deepening and closely cooperating with the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange and the China Scholarship Council, from student exchange, faculty exchange, to discipline and professional construction, and the construction of Chinese mentor teams are all carried out in-depth. Through these exchanges and cooperation, the university has helped internationalize Chinese higher education and played an active role in promoting the cultivation of talents for "the Belt and Road".

The international cooperation between Assumption University and Xihua University has started in 2018 and has established a very good foundation. On behalf of Assumption University, I would like to express our warm congratulations and sincere thanks to the organizers for the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement and the joint training programs for undergraduate and material students today!
