WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) and MERI-Group of Institutions, India, have marked a significant step in global academic collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 29, 2023. The signing took place at AU's Suvarnabhumi Campus, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, AU's Deputy Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Lalit Aggarwal, Vice President of MERI-Group, formalizing the partnership.

The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation through:

  • Resource Exchange: Both institutions will share educational and research materials, enriching the learning experience for students and researchers.
  • Joint Research and Publications: Collaborative research projects and shared publications will encourage a deeper exchange of ideas.
  • Academic Events: The partnership will see the co-hosting of conferences and seminars, fostering intellectual discussions.
  • Student and Faculty Exchange: Opportunities for students and faculty to study and teach abroad will promote cross-cultural understanding.
