WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
The Department of General Education, Theodore Maria School of Arts at Assumption University of Thailand (AU), has successfully concluded a productive session of the Higher Education Net Upper Central Division Meeting. Held on the Suvarnabhumi Campus within the accommodating walls of SG 106 Room, St. Gabriel's Hall, the event spanned from 9.00 to 12.00 hrs, punctuated by engaging discussions and insightful presentations.
Session one focused on reviewing the previous meeting's resolutions and discussing the progress of ongoing projects since the last gathering on January 23, 2023. Session two featured presentations on innovative educational strategies, including lifelong learning and the role of social enterprises in education, reflecting the University's forward-thinking approach.
A networking break provided a platform for representatives to exchange ideas informally, followed by a luncheon at Café De Bangkok, fostering further connection and collaboration among the attendees.
This assembly of university representatives, all members of the Higher Education Net Upper Central Division, marks a significant step towards enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning. The collective efforts will contribute to the production of competent graduates equipped with desirable characteristics, identities, and the soft skills demanded by the contemporary world.
