The Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU) held its board meeting on May 1, 2024, reaffirming the strong partnership between Assumption University of Thailand (AU) and Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST), China
Esteemed guests included Prof. Lu Fuping, President of TUST, and Prof. Wang Min, Vice President of TUST. The meeting reviewed and celebrated the key activities that have defined the AU-TUST partnership from 2023 to 2024, including:
July 2023: Professor Wang Min's visit to AU, which laid the groundwork for insightful discussions on CIAU's achievements during the CIAU board meeting.
December 2023: The 5th Belt and Road Biotechnology Seminar, co-hosted by AU and TUST, alongside the Xinhua Silk Road Agency and other media organizations, spotlighted the global collaboration.
Additional Collaborative Activities: Various initiatives such as educational administrators' exchange delegations to China, AU students' autumn camp, table tennis exchange activities, and other CIAU-led events further strengthened the AU-TUST relationship.
AU representatives expressed their sincere appreciation for TUST's ongoing support of the Confucius Institute. They look forward to expanding the scope of cooperation and exchanges between AU and TUST, especially as CIAU approaches its 10th anniversary.
The meeting reinforced the robust partnership and mutual respect between AU and TUST, fostering a shared commitment to educational and cultural exchanges for global understanding.
