Assumption University of Thailand (AU) was honored to host the Mobile Meeting Confederation of St. Gabriel's Alumni Associations of Thailand (CGA) on July 19, 2023. The prestigious event, co-organized by the Confederation of St. Gabriel's Alumni Associations of Thailand (CGA), and the Assumption University Alumni Association (AUAA), took place at the John XXIII Conference Center at AU's Suvarnabhumi Campus.

 
 

The gathering began with a keynote address by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, the President of AU. He enlightened the attendees with the illustrious history of St. Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, the Founder of Brothers of Saint Gabriel, an essential understanding for all alumni. Brother Bancha's address was both inspirational and heartwarming, highlighting the enduring legacy of St. Gabriel du Montfort in Thai society. He concluded his remarks with a blessing and a warm welcome to all attendees, thereby setting a positive and collaborative tone for the meeting.

 
 
 
 
 

Following Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran's address, Dr. Phakkhra Ruangsiradecho, President of AUAA (Assumption University Alumni Association), presented a welcome speech, further underlining the importance of the alumni associations in enriching the academic and cultural fabric of the institution.

In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, Bro. Bancha was presented with souvenirs of appreciation by the President of CGA, Dr. Sumit Petcharapirat, and the President of AUAA. A token of appreciation was also presented to the President of CGA by the AUAA President, acknowledging their critical role in fostering a strong alumni network.

While the meeting details remain confidential to respect the privacy of the discussions held, the event showcased the strength of the bond within the St. Gabriel's Alumni community, their love for their alma mater, and their continued dedication towards its growth.

The event concluded with a surprise celebration for Bro. Bancha. The AU President and the CGA Board Committee presented him with a birthday cake, leading the attendees in wishing him a very happy birthday. The gesture underscored the warmth and camaraderie that characterizes the AU community and served as a delightful end to the successful meeting.
