On September 21, 2022, Rev. Bro. Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Vice President for Student Affairs, gave an opportunity to the 7 athletes of Assumption University golf team to meet him as he would like to congratulate them after they won the third place in Chang Golf U Champions Cup 2022 FINAL, at Pattavia Century Golf Club Chonburi province.
The athletes consist of:
1 Mr. Voramet Pungdecha (นายวรเมธ พึ่งเดชะ) a 3rd-year student from Vincent Mary School of Engineering.
2 Mr. Tharit Kiatpornsiri (นายธฤต เกียรติพรศิริ) a 3rd-year student from Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics.
3. Mr. Thanakrit Phenkhoksung (นายธนกฤต เผนโคกสูง) a 2nd-year student from Theodore Maria School of Arts.
4 Mr. Chanagun Boonkittivasin (นายชนกันต์ บุญกิตติวศิน) a 2nd-year student from Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics.
5 Ms. Kenika Boonprasert (นางสาวเกณิกา บุญประเสริฐ) a 1st-year student from Theodore Maria School of Arts.
6 Mr. Komkrit Mitsamant (นายคมกฤษณ์ มิตรสมาน) a 1st-year student from Vincent Mary School of Engineering.
7 Mr. Supaklid Chetanak (นายสุกฤษฎิ์ เชฏนาค) a 1st-year student from Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics.
In the semifinals, Assumption University and the National Sports University got the same scores for the Play off, so they continued with the Choose out, measuring the distance to find the team that chipped the ball closest to the hole, but the National Sports University did better and won the match, sending the Assumption University to compete for 3rd place and eventually defeat Kasetsart University. After the competition, the results are as follows:
1. 1st place, Sripatum University team
2. 2nd place, Thailand National Sports University team
3. 3rd place, Assumption University team
