AU's delegation was led by the esteemed Mrs. Benjaporn Anunwanitcha, Director of The Assumption University Library. Mrs. Anunwanitcha, a figure highly respected and beloved by her peers from other libraries and universities, was joined by Mr. Somsin Sripraphatsorn, Department Head of Information Resources Management, Mrs. Wilai Pruesapancha, Department Head of Information Services and Learning Support, and Dr. Scott Smith, AU’s Ambassador of Aloha and certified facilitator of the 2030 SDGs Game. Together, they represented AU's dedication to shaping a future where libraries are both smart and sustainable.

"Embracing technology and sustainable practices is not just a goal; it is a journey that we are wholeheartedly committed to at Assumption University. The iGroup SEA Conference 2023 has been a beacon of inspiration and a testament to the collective will of library professionals in Southeast Asia to evolve and adapt in the face of a rapidly changing world," said Mrs. Benjaporn Anunwanitcha.

AU is also proud to be part of an elite list of universities, including Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, and Chiang Mai University, that have certified facilitators for The 2030 SDGs Game. This positions AU at the forefront of integrating sustainable development goals into its educational and community initiatives.

The insights gleaned from the conference will undoubtedly shape AU's approach to library management and sustainability in the years to come. The University is poised to implement innovative strategies and technologies that will not only benefit its students and faculty but also contribute to the broader community.
