Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s Taekwondo team has once again showcased their prowess, bringing home two gold medals and one silver from the 14th RSU FAI-FAH by TTB Taekwondo Championship. The event, held on September 8th at Rangsit University, saw fierce competition, but AU’s athletes were up to the challenge.
Leading the charge was Natwara Rattanachotikorn, a third-year student from the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics. Natwara clinched a well-deserved gold medal in the women's over 73 kg category, delivering a stunning performance that left no doubt about her dominance.
Joining her at the top of the podium was Patcharaporn Sukamon, a second-year student from the Theodore Maria School of Arts, who secured the gold in the women’s under 62 kg category. Patcharaporn’s precise techniques and sheer determination in every round earned her the win.
Not to be outdone, first-year student, Theodore Maria School of Arts, Supaset Kasak delivered a strong showing in the men’s under 80 kg category, taking home the silver medal. His performance was a thrilling display of resilience and skill.
The competition, hosted at Rangsit University’s Recreation Building, attracted top athletes from across the country. With their triumphs, AU’s Taekwondo team continues to set a high standard, bringing honor and pride to the university community.
