AU Students Golfers Win in Bangchak Championship 2023
The Assumption University Golf Team proudly announces the impressive achievements of the three talented golfers in the recent Bangchak Championship 2023 tournament, held at the Rancho Charnvee Resort & Country Club in Nakhon Ratchasima Province on May 5-7, 2023. In the event, Ms. Kenika Boonprasert (นางสาวเกณิกา บุญประเสริฐ), a freshman from The Theodore Maria School of Arts, emerged as the 1st Runner-up in the Special Genz Girl category.

We are delighted to announce that a talented golfer from the Assumption University Golf Team has emerged victorious in the Chang THAILAND Junior Golf Circuit 2023 held at Pattavia Century Golf Club in Chonburi Province on April 22-23, 2023. Ms. Kenika Boonprasert (น.ส. เกณิกา บุญประเสริฐ), a first-year student from Theodore Maria School of Arts, has won the Special Class Girl category with an impressive score of -2 under par (72-70) in the 2-day competition, played on a Par 72 course spanning 6,639 yards.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Ms. Kenika Boonprasert for her outstanding achievement and wish her all the best for her future endeavors.

The event occurred at the beautiful Lake View Resort & Golf Club in Phetchaburi Province. During March 25-26, 2023. The Special Class Boy category Winner goes to Mr. Komkrit Mitsamant, a freshman from Vincent Mary School of Engineering. In addition, Ms. Pusita Purahong, a first-year student from Theodore Maria School of Arts, was The Winner in the Super Junior Girl category. Congratulations to the talented athletes of the AU Golf Team! The team is thrilled to announce that one of their own, Ms. Kanika Boonprasert (น.ส. เกณิกา บุญประเสริฐ), a first-year student from Theodore Maria School of Arts, started the season off by winning the Chang Open 2023 golf tournament at the Panorama Golf and Country Club in Nakhon Ratchasima Province on February 18-19, 2023.
Ms. Boonprasert secured the championship with an impressive performance, ending the two-day tournament with a score of (-4) under par. Her exceptional performance was a sight to behold, and the AU Golf Team is proud to have her as a part of their team.

AU Golf Team Achievements in TOYOTA University Golf Championship 2022
Assumption University Golf Team welcomes the award plaque “Bring Victory” back to our university with the 1st Runner up TOYOTA University Golf Championship 2022. The final round of this golf tournament was held last December 21, 2022, at Riverdale Golf Club, Pathum Thani province. The final result is as follows:
- The Winner - Sripatum University
- The 1st Runner up - Assumption University
- The 2nd Runner up -Thailand National Sports University
- The 3rd Runner up -Thammasat University

Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Genz, hosted a college golf tournament.
The 3rd “Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2022” was competed in a 3-day individual match play in Pattavia Century Golf Club, Chonburi Province, during 17-19 September 2022.The aim of the competition is to provide golf players at university level diverse competitive arenasso as to continuously sharpen their skills and to strengthen the relationship among university’s golf teams.
In the tournament, there were 4 qualifying rounds where golfers competed in 4 different courses in a 36-hole stroke play for the highest accumulated scores. The final round is a 3-round individual match play between 4 members of each team on all 3 days. The 6 teams that entered the final were Sripatum University team, Assumption University team, Thailand National Sports University team, Kasetsart University team, Thammasat University team and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok while the first two seeds (Sripatum and Assumption University teams) went straight to the semi-final round waiting for the winners of the other two match-ups.
In the quarter final, the teams from Thailand Kasetsart University and National Sports University came out on top, meeting the first and second seeds in the semi-final respectively. Sripatum University beat Kasetsart University by 4 points while the result between Assumption University and Thailand National Sports University was decided by a shootout. The duel sent the third seed, Thailand Nation Sports University, to the final round.
Defeating the team from Kasetsart University 3 to 1, Assumption University team walked away with the 3rd place. The 3 points came from Woramet Phungdecha who won over Techin Saipetch (14th hole), Thanakrit Pankhoksoong over Kantaphon Semsaman, and Kaenika Boonprasert over Korkrit Chaopanich (17th hole). Kasetsart University received 1 win from Krittin Worawart who defeated Komkrit Mitrsamarn in the 17th hole.
The first place went to the team from Sripatum University overpowering the team from Thailand National Sports University in the final, receiving an 80,000-baht scholarship. Thailand National Sports University, the runner-up, was granted 40,000 baht whereas Assumption University and Kasetsart University 20,000 baht and 10,000 baht respectively.

The AU Golf Team competed in the recent “Chang Golf U Champion Cup 2022” tournament and won the enviable “1st Runner Up” Award in the Qualifying Round at Springfield Royal Country Club, Phetchaburi province.

He competed in the recent “SINGHA-TSGU Juniors Championship” tournament, at Watermill Golf Club & Resort, Nakhon Nayok province, with the total score of 1 Over par (+1). Eventually, he became the winner of this competition..
