Assumption University's commitment to fostering collaboration between academia and industry took center stage during a recent event on August 25, 2023. Organized by the Institute for Research and Academic Services (IRAS), in collaboration with MSME Business School and the Anti Money Laundering Commission, the event showcased a remarkable convergence of expertise.

From 08:30 to 16:00 hrs., representatives from diverse organizations gathered at the Viman Bangplee Room, CL Building, Assumption University of Thailand, Suvarnabhumi Campus, to witness an inspiring symposium aimed at bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications. The event was dedicated to extending valuable academic support to a range of organizations and institutions while cementing Assumption University's reputation as a hub of innovative education and proactive engagement.


 

 

The morning sessions were led by the Anti-Money Laundering Office, showcasing lectures on crucial topics including preventing money laundering, combating financial support for terrorism, and countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. In the afternoon, experts from all 12 faculties of Assumption University presented a diverse array of academic services, offering insights into the latest advancements across various disciplines.

Participation in the event was robust, with over 100 individuals from district offices, subdistrict administrative offices, police stations, subdistrict health promotion hospitals, and schools in the Bang Sao Thong District and Bang Bo District of Samut Prakan Province.
