Ministry of Culture hosted a week long celebration of the 240th Anniversary of Foundation of Rattanakosin (ใต้ร่มพระบารมี 240 ปีรัตนโกสินทร์) from April 20 to 24, 2022. Presiding at the opening ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Wisanu Krue-ngam and Culture Minister Ittiphol Kunpluem. The ceremony, with nationwide televised braodcast, was joined by members of diplomatic corps and executives from Ministry of Culture, Prime Minister's Office, and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
Dr. Apichart Intravisit, Program Director of Creative Communication and Music Business of MBA, Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management, joined Khun Saisawan Khayanying, Thailand's renowned announcer, to emcee the ceremony.
