On September 18, 2023, the university's very own Asst. Prof. Dr. Viyada Kunathigan was invited to share her expertise on the intriguing subject of 'Alcoholic beverages and colors.' This talk served as the spark that ignited a truly colorful project.
Under the expert guidance of Dr. Atittaya Tandhanskul, the project on colored beers took shape. The goal was ambitious yet captivating: to craft beers that were not just enjoyable to drink but a feast for the eyes as well. The team embarked on their journey to infuse beer with a spectrum of vibrant, all-natural colors.
Months of dedication and meticulous experimentation later, the project reached its zenith. Five distinct colored beers were produced, each a testament to the ingenuity of Assumption University's faculty and students. These innovative brews were set to make their debut at the prestigious FI Asia 2023 event.
But the story doesn't end there. In a heartwarming twist, two freshly minted Bachelor's graduates from Assumption University Mr. Sai Aung Kham and Ms. Chonticha Makphon, were hired to assist at the GNT booth during FI Asia 2023. This not only provided them with invaluable real-world experience but also served as a shining example of how the university's ties extend beyond graduation.
As the countdown to FI Asia 2023 begins, anticipation is in the air. The event, slated from September 20 to 22, 2023, promises to be a showcase of innovation in the food and beverage industry.
