The Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS) of Assumption University of Thailand (AU), in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Academic Services (IRAS), successfully conducted a first aid training session at Wat Khotaram School in Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan, on February 8, 2024. The training aimed to equip teachers and students with essential life-saving skills.

Ms. Ubon Chuthong, Acting Director of Wat Khotaram School, extended a warm welcome to the visiting team from Assumption University, led by Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Dean of BLNS, and Dr. Phat Prapawichar, Associate Dean. The team also included esteemed faculty members Dr. Nuengruetai Kanchantra, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanyaphat Setchoduk, Dr. Patra Pheukphan, A. Siraporn Silphipat (Project Manager), five dedicated nursing students, and Mr. Kunphisit Prasert from IRAS.

The comprehensive first aid training program covered crucial topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and choking management, empowering participants with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.

This initiative underscores Assumption University's commitment to community service and the enhancement of health and safety education. The collaboration between BLNS and IRAS reflects the university's dedication to fostering practical learning experiences that benefit both its students and the wider community.
