Young golfers from the Plookpanya Golf School had an extraordinary experience this past week as they trained alongside the AU Golf Team at the Plookpanya Golf Learning Center's simulator room. This special golf camp for under-10 (U10) players provided not just technical training but also mentorship from experienced collegiate athletes.

Under the expert guidance of Pro Bew, Pro Keng, and Pookpanya Golf School’s coaching team, the young participants received hands-on training in various aspects of the game, from perfecting their swings to mastering short-game techniques. However, this session was made even more special by the presence of student-athletes from Assumption University of Thailand ’s (AU) Golf Team, who generously volunteered their time to mentor the young golfers.

Throughout the camp, participants learned golf fundamentals, shot-making techniques, and game strategies, before teaming up with AU players for skill drills, including putting, chipping, and bunker shots. The event culminated in a friendly putting challenge, where young golfers had the chance to compete alongside their mentors in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

The camp was attended by parents, Plookpanya Golf School athletes, and AU golf team members, all of whom provided encouragement and support. The interactive training session not only helped refine the participants' skills but also inspired them to pursue golf at a higher level.

Plookpanya Golf School expressed gratitude to the AU Golf Team for their time and dedication, emphasizing that this collaboration has set a strong foundation for the next generation of golfers. The event was a testament to AU’s commitment to fostering young talent and strengthening sportsmanship within the golfing community.

As AU Golf Team continues its journey toward success in upcoming competitions, the university extends its best wishes to the team and remains committed to supporting the development of young athletes through initiatives like this.
