WRITER : THE AU LIBRARY
Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly welcomed a delegation of visiting students from Myanmar for an immersive educational and cultural experience at the Suvarnabhumi Campus on June 13, 2025.


The campus tour gave the students a firsthand look at some of AU’s most iconic facilities, blending academic excellence with holistic student life.
📚 AU Library – The tour began at the University Library, where students explored modern learning spaces, digital resources, and the beautiful design of one of the largest English-language academic libraries in Southeast Asia. The atmosphere of innovation and inquiry was a fitting start to the visit.
⛪ The Chapel of St. Louis Marie de Montfort – Next, the group stepped into the spiritual heart of the campus. The stunning chapel, known for its towering architecture and sacred calm, left a lasting impression with its peaceful ambiance and elegant stained-glass interiors.
🏢 AU Residence Halls – A walkthrough of the student accommodation showcased the convenience and comfort of AU’s on-campus living. Designed to foster community, safety, and independence, the halls reflect the university’s commitment to student well-being.
🏀 John Paul II Sports Center – The visit wrapped up with a stop at AU’s world-class sports complex, where the energy of athletic excellence and student recreation came to life. From fitness facilities to expansive courts, the center is a hub for health, teamwork, and campus spirit.
This visit not only strengthened academic ties between Myanmar and Thailand but also celebrated AU’s mission of international friendship, diversity, and shared learning.
AU continues to welcome global learners with open arms — where East meets West, and futures take flight.
