MSME Business School strengthened family enterprises through a high-impact leadership and succession training program.
The Martin de Tours School of Management, Economics and Business (MSME) of Assumption University of Thailand (AU) successfully organized a series of professional training sessions beginning December 2025 and running until February 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, reinforcing its commitment to practical, industry-relevant education.
Delivered in partnership with Southeast Life Insurance Public Company Limited, the Family Business Enterprise Leadership & Succession Program was designed to empower family-owned businesses with essential knowledge in leadership development, corporate governance, and succession planning—critical pillars for long-term sustainability and intergenerational success.
The program featured expert-led workshop sessions that blended real-world case studies with strategic frameworks, offering participants actionable insights to navigate complex family business dynamics and future-proof their organizations.
Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarporn, Dean, MSME Business School extends his sincere appreciation to all MSME lecturers and staff whose expertise, dedication, and collaborative spirit ensured the successful delivery of the workshops. Their collective efforts played a vital role in creating a meaningful learning experience for all participants.
Through initiatives such as this, Assumption University of Thailand continues to strengthen its role as a leading institution in business education, fostering resilient enterprises and responsible leadership for Thailand’s evolving economic landscape.
A Strong Academic Pathway for Future Family Business Leaders
The newly launched Bachelor of Business Administration in Family Business Management and Innovation further strengthened MSME’s academic ecosystem by preparing the next generation of family enterprise leaders through a practice-driven, innovation-focused curriculum.
Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and successors of family-owned businesses, the three-year program emphasized learning by doing, with hands-on projects drawn from students’ own family enterprises, personalized mentorship from industry experts, and international exposure through study trips in Europe and Asia.
With a limited intake of only 30 students per cohort, the program ensured close faculty engagement and a highly immersive learning experience. Graduates were equipped with the skills to lead business transformation, manage succession, leverage AI and digital tools, expand into global markets, and drive sustainable growth across generations.
