L’Oréal and AU Sign MoU to Shape Future Business Talent

MSME Business School partners with L’Oréal to expand career pathways

The future of business education met the realities of global industry as the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME Business School) of Assumption University of Thailand (AU) formalized a new partnership with L’Oréal, one of the world’s leading beauty companies, during a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held at the University’s Suvarnabhumi Campus.

The agreement reflected a shared commitment to preparing students for the evolving demands of the global workforce by strengthening the bridge between academic learning and industry practice.

The ceremony began with welcome refreshments, followed by the AU anthem and institutional presentations from both organizations. Opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarporn, Dean of the MSME Business School, and Khun Jarunate Pintusan, Human Resources Director of L’Oréal Thailand. Both speakers emphasized the importance of collaboration in developing future-ready graduates equipped with practical skills, professional confidence, and a global mindset.

The highlight of the morning was the official MoU signing and exchange of souvenirs, followed by a group photo marking the beginning of the partnership. Representatives from L’Oréal later joined a guided campus tour organized by the University’s Public Relations team, concluding with a luncheon hosted by AU.

The L’Oréal delegation included Khun Jarunate Pintusan, Human Resources Director; Khun Nunthasiree Panichob, Assistant Manager for Young Talent and Employer Branding; and Khun Sawanit Numwong, Head of Talent Acquisition. Their participation underscored the company’s strategic focus on engaging emerging talent and strengthening its presence within academic communities.

From the university side, the event brought together members of the MSME leadership team, including assistant deans and department chairpersons from Marketing, Accounting, and Digital Business Management, reflecting the school’s integrated approach to industry collaboration.

As one of the world’s largest cosmetics and beauty companies, operating in more than 150 countries, L’Oréal is widely recognized for its investment in innovation, talent development, and employer branding. The partnership is expected to open opportunities for internships, career pathways, industry projects, and future collaborative initiatives that align academic learning with real-world business challenges.

For the MSME Business School, the collaboration reinforces its mission to develop globally competent graduates who are prepared not only to enter the workforce, but to lead within it. By working closely with international industry partners, the school continues to expand learning beyond the classroom, ensuring that students graduate with both knowledge and experience.

The ceremony concluded with a shared sense of momentum. What began as a formal signing signaled something larger: a long-term investment in people, opportunity, and the next generation of business leaders.
