BANGKOK — May 30, 2025 — In a move that underscores Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s commitment to academic innovation and future-focused leadership, Associate Professor Dr. Rawin Vongurai has been appointed Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management, effective June 1, 2025.
Dr. Rawin, who will also continue in his role as Assistant Vice President for Research and Academic Services, brings to the position a dynamic blend of scholarly depth, administrative experience, and a clear vision for graduate education in a rapidly evolving world. His appointment was formally approved by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU.
Widely respected for his research in digital education, organizational innovation, and sustainable development, Dr. Rawin has long been a driving force behind AU’s research ecosystem. A graduate of the University of Nottingham, he has helped elevate the university’s reputation through international partnerships, interdisciplinary conferences, and forward-thinking academic programming.
As Associate Dean, Dr. Rawin will oversee curriculum development, research strategy, and innovation across a diverse portfolio of graduate programs that integrate business and technology. His leadership is expected to strengthen AU’s position as a hub for entrepreneurial thinking and transformative learning in the ASEAN region and beyond.
