WRITER : SUPA PUDKASAM

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly congratulates two first-year students from the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS), Ms. Subharada Yoovathaworn and Ms. Intanila Pipitapan, who earned an Honorable Award at the prestigious “World First Aid and Climate Change 2025” Innovation Contest hosted by the First Aid and Healthcare Training Center, Thai Red Cross Society.

Their project, the “Heatstroke First Aid Kit,” was designed to provide rapid response care for individuals collapsing due to heatstroke or extreme warm weather conditions. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Supa Pudkasam, the innovative kit stood out among 103 submissions, earning a place among only 14 finalists showcased at the final round held on September 12, 2025, at the Chakrapong Building, Chulalongkorn Hospital.

The event celebrated World First Aid Day 2025, with a focus on climate change adaptation and innovation. The BLNS team’s creative solution reflects both the academic excellence and social responsibility cultivated at AU, preparing students not only for successful healthcare careers but also to become changemakers addressing global challenges.
