Gabrielite Brothers were honored for completing a mission-focused formation program at AU.
A spirit of reflection, purpose, and quiet celebration marked a certificate presentation ceremony held at Assumption University of Thailand, honoring Brothers of St. Gabriel who successfully completed the formation program “The Educative Mission of Gabrielite Consecrated Brothers in the Church and in the World”.
The certificates were formally presented by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, in recognition of the Brothers’ commitment to professional growth, spiritual formation, and their enduring mission as educators in service to the Church and society.
The training program was conducted by Bro. Dr. Paul Raj and focused on deepening participants’ understanding of the Gabrielite vocation within contemporary educational, ecclesial, and global contexts. Through structured sessions, guided reflection, discussion, and participant presentations, the program emphasized the role of consecrated Brothers as educators, witnesses of faith, and agents of service in an increasingly complex world.
During the ceremony, the President congratulated the participants on their dedication and successful completion of the program, highlighting the importance of continuous formation in strengthening both personal vocation and institutional mission. He reaffirmed the University’s belief that mission-driven education begins with well-formed educators who lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
The event also reflected AU’s ongoing commitment to capacity building and the development of religious educators whose work is aligned with the values of the Church and the long-standing traditions of the Gabrielite community.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Kitikorn Dowpiset, Vice President for Moral Development Education, and Dr. Satha Phongsatha, Dean of the Graduate School of Human Sciences, and concluded with a group photo session to commemorate the occasion—capturing a shared moment of achievement, renewal, and collective mission.
