AU and other Universities' Initiated Partnership with Thai Media Fund
The Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Assumption University and other 23 universities nationwide, have partnered with the Thai Media Fund in monitoring, evaluating and rewarding the safe and creative media in Thailand.Dr. Chanon Sirithorn, the Assistant to Dean of Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts and the Chairperson of Public Relations Department, representing Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus of Assumption University, has presided over the MOU signing ceremony at Banyan Tree Bangkok on September 2, 2020.

AU Science & Technology Students Ready to Utilize & Manipulate the Advanced Tool of “Temi Robot”
The highly innovative “Temi Robot” on loan for AU Science & Technology students’ practical learning and development project, was officially handed over to the AU Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology by True Corporation Public Co. Ltd. on September 11, 2020. Under the AU and True Corporation’s collaborative project of “True 5G World of Smart Education with Temi Robot Bootcamps at Assumption University”, the formal delivering ceremony of the “Robot” took place on the 6th floor of VMC Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus, which was witnessed by faculty’s dean, administrators, faculty members, students, True Corporation’s executives and Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, among other distinguished guests.

AU Charity “Love & Care for Community”
The AU charitable activities jointly organized by the Theodore Maria School of Arts and the AU Libraries demonstrated the kind acts, love and care (marking the AU Golden Jubilee) towards the needy children and elderly persons. A team of administrators, lecturers, staff, library officers and students led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sureepong Phothongsunan, Dean, Theodore Maria School of Arts, visited the SOS Children’s Villages and the Watthana Niwat Foundation for the Elderly on September 11, 2020. The proceeds of the recent “Arts of Giving T-Shirts” sales were donated to the two foundations, both of which are located in Samutprakarn province.

During his participation in the St. Gabriel’s College’s Centenary Celebrations together with a number of AU Administrators, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President-Rector Magnificus, and other distinguished participants were presented with HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s honorable pins.

Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Accepted HRH the Princess’ Bouquet of Flowers on behalf of the Rector Emeritus
In an act of kindness and generosity, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn sent a bouquet of flowers through Mr.Tirawat Sucharitakul , Advisor to the Royal Secretariat of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, as her representative to Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip M. Komolmas, AU President Emeritus, as her gesture of greetings and well-wishes.On this occasion, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, gratefully accepted the Princess’s bouquet of flowers and duly presented it to the President Emeritus. On his arrival, the Princess’ representative was warmly welcomed by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, members of the University management , administrators, faculty and staff at the Queen Tower, Hua Mak Campus, on September 18, 2020.

Parent Orientation Meetings
As Assumption University fully realizes the importance of the parents or guardians’ cooperation to the students’ academic success and achievements, the Parent Orientation Meeting is organized every year. To this end, this year’s Parent Orientation was organized on September 19, 2020 at Suvarnabhumi Campus for their general guidelines and directions aimed at achieving the above mentioned purpose.
