Bangkok, Thailand — The Asian Law Students Association (ALSA) of Assumption University in cooperation with Kasetsart University are gearing up to host their much-anticipated seminar, "ALSA TALK 2023", centered around the theme "Law in Challenging Issues", scheduled for November 24, 2023, at the Auditorium Hall, Assumption University, Hua Mak Campus, the event promises to be an insightful platform for approximately 100 participants from both institutes’ students and legal enthusiasts.

The seminar aims to address contemporary legal challenges, offering a comprehensive exploration of diverse issues and their legal implications across various spheres. With a panel of esteemed speakers and experts in law, the event will delve into multifaceted subjects which are:

1.“IP Law and Thailand in Transition” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapong Suwan-in, Director of Legal Counselling Center, School of Law, Assumption University.
2. “Digital Law and the Country Development” by A.Yuranan Yuvanont, LL.B. Program Responsible Lecturer, School of Law, Assumption University.
3. “PDPA: Guarding Your Information, Empowering Your Rights” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preeda Showtimanon, Full-time Lecturer, Faculty of Law, Ramkhamhaeng University.
4. “Coping with a Child’s Misconduct: Balancing Public Security and the Child’s Lack of Adult Maturity” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pisawat Sukonthapan, Full-time Lecturer, School of Law, Assumption University accompanied by Miss Suphanarpha Boonkant and Mr.Tanavich Phoolpipat, Representatives from ALSA KU, and Miss Jasmine Sriboriboon Santos and Mr.Patomporn Chansawang, Representatives from ALSA AU.
