Event Details:

Let’s identify what to focus and alter in order to be in compliance with the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Thomas Aquinas School of Law, Assumption University and PDPA Thailand invite you to attend the co-organized free seminar “A Brief Sharing for Lasting Protection”

Many have frequently heard the metaphor “Data is the New Oil” as our world nowadays is information/data driven. People seek to take advantage of other’s personal data, which lead to an enactment of the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E.2019 in Thailand. Organizations whether public or private need to comply with this law. The question might be how, but first we should be aware and identify each of the elements needed for changes.

The Seminar Keynotes are as follows:

- The Importance of Personal Data Protection Laws
- Top 5 Compliance Challenges and Best Practices:

  1. DPO Dilemma and Management
  2. Data Mapping and Inventory
  3. Consent Management
  4. Data Subject Rights Management
  5. Data Breach Notification Management

*Collaboration ceremonies between the School of Law, Assumption University of Thailand and PDPA Thailand (under the management of DBC Group) also hosted prior to the seminar.
*Refreshments will be provided during the seminar
*Free of charge
