The objective of Opening the Uncle Bob Coffee Shop

  1. Uncle Bob Coffee Shop is a renovation of the bookstore area so that shoppers in the bookstore can sit back and relax and order drinks.
  2. It is a place to socialize and relax for the AU Community (administrators, faculty, staff, Students, and alumni) outsiders can sit inside and outside.
  3. The naming of “Uncle Bob Coffee” is a reflection of Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, the President – Rector Magnificus's personality which is relaxed, simple, kind, gentle, and friendly.
  4. Uncle Bob Coffee Shop is not only a place for refreshments, but it can also serve as a check-in and photo-taking point.
  5. It will enhance the vitality and vibrancy of our university environment by introducing a new and exciting addition to the Campus.

Objectives of the handing out of the 90th Birthday Celebration of President Emeritus's shirts

  1. The AU President will preside over handing out of the 90th Birthday Celebration of President Emeritus's shirts to representatives of AU administrative units to prepare to wear and start celebrating on April 28, 2023.
  2. To show the spirit of unity, and solidarity and to celebrate the 90th Birthday Celebration of President Emeritus starting on April 28, 2023, and every Friday throughout the year 2023.
  3. To support AU Personnel by wearing a 90th Birthday Celebration of President Emeritus's shirts to work and helping to promote public relations when personnel travels off Campus.

Event Details:

       The Office of the President would like to cordially invite you and your colleagues to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Uncle Bob Coffee Shop which is located at the Bookstore.

 09.45 hrs.  Assemblages at the Bookstore, 1st floor of "P" Building.
 10.00 hrs.  Greetings by Director, Office of International Affairs.
 10.10 hrs.   Opening Ceremony by the President – Rector Magnificius.
 10.15 hrs.  Photo Sessions.
 10.30 hrs.  Handing of the 90th Birthday Celebration of President Emeritus's shirts to representatives of AU administrative units by the President – Rector Magnificus.
