SUMMARY:1010 Digital Human Festival AI Agent Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Assumption University of Thailand (AU) students are invited to put their ideas into action in the 2026 Global AI Agent Challenge\, part of the 1010 Digital Human Festival. \nOpen to individuals and teams of up to five participants\, the competition offers students an opportunity to develop practical AI solutions\, strengthen their technical skills and compete for cash prizes\, product rewards\, certificates and AWS cloud credits. \nParticipants may choose from two competition tracks: \nTrack A: AI Agent Building\nBuild a complete AI agent using the Wesome AI platform. Suggested applications include education\, tourism\, commerce\, enterprise services and community healthcare. The track is beginner-friendly and suitable for students ready to turn a promising idea into a working AI assistant. \nTrack B: Agent Skills Competition\nDevelop advanced skills and plugins through WorkHub and connect them to AI agents. This track is designed for participants interested in deeper technical development and solutions with practical or commercial potential. \nWinning projects may also receive internship and employment opportunities\, investor introductions\, marketplace support and inclusion in the 2026 AI Agent Application White Paper. SUMMARY:Assumption University to Host 40th IODA Conference in Bangkok
DESCRIPTION:Global organization development leaders will gather at Assumption University this October for three days of ideas\, exchange and action focused on building more sustainable organizations. \nAssumption University of Thailand (AU) will welcome organization development practitioners\, academics\, leaders and change-makers from around the world for the 40th Annual International Organization Development Association (IODA) Conference\, to be held October 15–17\, 2026\, at the University’s Hua Mak Campus in Bangkok. \nCo-hosted by Assumption University and the International Organization Development Association (IODA)\, the milestone conference will explore the theme “OD for Sustainability: Wisdom\, Adaptability\, Innovation” \nThe three-day international gathering will examine how organizations can move beyond short-term approaches to change and embrace more sustainable\, regenerative and people-centered ways of working. \nParticipants will take part in keynote presentations\, concurrent sessions\, synthesis dialogues\, company visits\, campus activities and cultural experiences designed to connect organization development theory with practice. \nThree Days of Wisdom\, Adaptability and Innovation\n\nDay 1 – Wisdom. The opening day will explore systems thinking\, complexity\, sustainability and regeneration\, ethical leadership and reflective practice\, grounding organization development in long-term thinking and values-driven decision-making.\n\nKeynote Speaker: Ms. Jacqueline Wong\, Founder & Senior Partner of the Sequoia Group and Dean of the Sustainability Institute\, Singapore. \n\nDay 2 – Adaptability & Innovation. The second day turns to agility\, resilience\, inclusion and innovation\, with practical approaches to navigating change\, fostering continuous renewal and creating sustainable impact.\n\nKeynote Speaker: Dr. Piti Tantakasem\, Director & Chief Executive Officer\, TMB Thanachart Bank Public Company Limited. \n\nDay 3 – Integration & Cultural Immersion. The final day will translate learning into practice through company visits\, campus engagement and cultural experiences connecting OD theory with organizational realities and the local Thai context.\n\nFour Decades of Global OD Exchange\nEstablished in 1986\, IODA grew from a group of organization development professionals from more than 13 countries who wanted a network that was genuinely global in outlook and values. Today\, IODA is an international nonprofit network of OD professionals\, consultants\, practitioners\, academics\, students and social scientists from more than 50 countries. \nIODA connects people across cultures and national boundaries to share ideas\, methods and approaches to organizational and societal change.
