On January 27, 2025, the Theodore Maria School of Arts, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), hosted an inspiring special talk titled “Towards ARTS Future Careers” as part of the Empowering Self Series 2024. The event, held at the Cathedral of Learning Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus, featured a keynote by Mr. Watcharaphon Singngoen, an accomplished Arts alumnus and the Head of Commercial at Teleport (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Bangkok.
Mr. Watcharaphon, a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, shared his remarkable journey from an Arts graduate to a key leadership role in a fast-growing logistics and transportation company. Currently leading commercial operations at Teleport, the logistics and cargo arm of AirAsia Group, Mr. Watcharaphon has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth in Thailand and internationally. Teleport is recognized for its innovative logistics solutions, utilizing AirAsia’s extensive network to provide efficient air cargo, logistics, and delivery services across Asia and beyond.
Drawing on his vast experience in passenger services, cargo sales, and administration across Thailand, India, and Japan, Mr. Watcharaphon highlighted how Arts graduates can leverage their skills in communication, critical thinking, and cultural understanding to excel in industries like aviation and logistics. His success exemplifies the value of a well-rounded Arts education and its ability to unlock opportunities in the global business arena.
The session emphasized the importance of international business acumen and adaptability, leaving attendees inspired and equipped with actionable guidance for their future careers. Students were particularly motivated by Mr. Watcharaphon’s personal anecdotes and professional strategies, which underscored the endless possibilities awaiting Arts graduates.
